Forum Revamp and Plenty More Changes to Come!
Hello folks!
Ladies and Gentlemen, please have your mouse at the ready for the unveiling of the brand new SoDevious Forums!
We’ve revamped the SoDevious Forums with new forum / bulletin board software called Vanilla. Just like vanilla ice cream – It is a very tasty Web application and we’re sure you’ll all agree when you Apply for Membership and starting using the forums to discuss Web Design and Development subjects. Unfortunately, this means that all posts and members are now gone from the old forum but we would appreciate it if you came to join us at our brand new forum where we’ve included the following forum categories:
- News and Announcements
- Feedback and Suggestions
- Web Design
- HTML and CSS
- JavaScript
- PHP and MySQL
- Graphic Design
- Web Hosting & Servers
- Blogging
- General Chat
So there are plenty of places where everyone can join in the discussion with the new community. In case you haven’t already checked it, the SoDevious Forums are now located at a new URL: http://www.sodevious.net/forum/ so make sure you bookmark the new URL and get posting!
Secondly, Nicole and I have some major plans for both the blog and the new forums which we’re both really excited about! Make sure you check back here in the next few days for some hot new content. We’d also like to thank you for being a part of SoDevious, and hope that you decide to continue to be.
And lastly, you’re probably wondering who I am. Well, I’m Andrew Cooper and I’m hoping to be a regular blogger and article writer here at SoDevious along with Nicole and anyone else that wants to write for us. I live in England, United Kingdom and I’m 19 years old (so I’m still a teenager!). I’ll be attending University from September 2010 studying BSc (Hons) Computer Science but I’m primarily focused on Web Design and Development (mainly development as I suck at designing, especially Adobe Photoshop) with my expertise being in Front-End Web Development consisting of HTML 4.01, CSS 2.1, and JavaScript 1.5 as well as some knowledge of PHP 5 and MySQL 5 (Back-End Web Development). Hopefully I’ll be able to help you lovely people with a thing or two and you’ll be able to help me as well. It’s a win-win situation we’ve got here!
Me and Nicole both look forward to the future of SoDevious and we can’t wait to show you what we have up our sleeves for you all. Feel free to make any comments below or start a new thread in the SoDevious Forums.
