Anyways, I am very happy. School ends in three days, I can't wait. But, then again, I don't really want it to end. Believe it or not, I actually like school. I'm smart (gifted) so it's not like the work is that hard. I really like being with my friends, when we're together, we make some of the best memories. And I love them all. No tot mention that I am in eighth grade, and high school is coming very soon. After Thursday, I may never see some people ever again, which really upsets me.

But, with this change comes summer, in which I will have more time to actually create my portfolio, better this site, and oh, I have some secret projects coming out soon. (hehe) Toodles for now.

My trip was awesome by the way. We all had FastPasses, so we got like 10 rides done that day. :] We were all so hyper, I might post a few pics. We ate candy the whole bus ride, which was like 8 hours. There is so much to explain, I don't think I will bother writing more about it.

This Friday, the 8th grade is going on their end of the year trip, to Islands of adventure. I am so exited! Me and my friends are going to be so hyper, it's not even funny.

Enough about me, time for updates! I made like, 400 icon bases, and a few blends this week, I am going to be adding them soon. Oh, and I am launching a news site tomorrow, or the next day. Can't wait.

Well, I am in a really happy mood today. If you're guessing why, It's because I have a Google Page Rank of 4! I have noticed that it has been at that for a week or so now. I believe it was at only 2 last week. But, that's not even the best part. Today, I took the liberty of checking out the PR's of other sites were. (You know, like swimchick, divergente, outspoken). THEY HAVE A PR OF 4 TOO! I was shocked. I swear my jaw dropped down to the floor. I would have never in my wildest dreams thought that I could have even been compared to them They're like the greats who have been around since forever. Oh, here's a screenie. With such an increase, I am going to concentrate my time on making a lot more content, like site layouts, premade CSS, (better) PSD/PNG's, brushes, and tutorials (a lot) xD. Feel free to suggest :]

Anyways, people are asking me what my business cards are for. And, they're basically for me, I guess. You see, I consider my site as my playground. To experiment with things, showcase my work, whatever I want to do with it. I really hate it when people say they "love" web design, and then quit a few months later. First off, you can't quit something you "love". And second, you can't really call it web/graphic design if you grab a layout from divergente, and slap a badly made blend of Ashley Tisdale on it. I would Never, ever, ever, ever, ever quit something that I love so much. This isn't my hobby, it's my passion. I live for this.

Back to my point. I consider myself a web and graphic designer, because it will be my career someday. At 13, I know what I am going to do, and who I'm going to be. I know that I can't ever give this up, Mark my words, I am going to make it big doing what I love.

Today, in class we had to practice writing a resume. Most people filled theirs up with fake work experience and skills. I didn't. I was so proud of myself that I actually had a real resume. Most of them don't even know what they really want to do when they're older. I can say that I do know, and that I'm actually doing it.

So far, I am loving this. It's so cool :] There's a huge difference between cutenews and wordpress. I think I am going to write a few tutorials on this! 8D Speaking of which, I need to write more tutorials on everything. And fix the tutorials page. Gawsh, I am such a procrastinator. Shame on me.

Lately, I have been thinking of making my own (simple) PHP script. I have looked at a few tutorials, and understand the basics of it. I would be willing to give it a try if I actually know what the script would be for. Any suggestions?

Well, I finally blogged. *Whoohoo* By now, I should have had that new layout up. Well, actually I do, but something is messing up the coding. I have spent the last two weeks making and coding like 12 layouts already. You can see the newset one here. The only issue is that it looks weird in IE. Anyone know how to fix this?

Anywho, my dad is getting me 1000 bussiness cards b wendsay! Wo0t. When I get them, I'll post them up here. I'm so hapy, I can't wait. Lately, I have been working on my quilt for the Qbee. It's this "club" where you make a pixel patch, and trade them with other members. It's fun whether you can pixel or not ^^

whoops, I forgot I had to make an Icon to blog...lemme go do that..done Okay, well, I forgot my Hello, so Hello! My mom bought a new Nissan Altima today, very purtty I must say. I swear to keep it clean! We did spend like 4 hours in the dealer today and yesterday. So, that's like 8 hours. I swear they were ready to tell us to go "poof" already. Whatever, we got it finished, and go the car, so I guess we all win.

Anywho, I am getting reallyy sick of all these graphic sites, I see the same thing. All the time. Over and over, the same exact graphics, with a different color, and sometimes, it's just the quality of the image and the designer. I don't want to offend people, (I'm not calling myself the best, becuase trust me I'm not) but people think that they are the best at everything, when they're not. Sometimes you just need a reality check. Which brings me to my next point, I am tired of my simple, boring coding. I want to be professional, experienced, I want to be someone that people can look up to.

Thus, I am going to be coding a bit differently now. (Which means new theme!) I am going to try and use more CSS based layouts. I spent this weekend looking at CSS sites, and containers and all that jazz, and there is so much more to CSS than I thought.

Yesterday I learned that you could make image borders using CSS! SEE! I'm not crazy! Such a timesaver.

Well, I guess I'm done for the moment. Oh, I forgot to mention the new handmade brushes I made in my last blog, here's a preview.

OMG! I forgot to tell you guts about my phone! IT DIED! Well, while at my friends house, [vironica veronica] my phone happened to fall into the toilet. How sad. How very very sad. The good part is that the toilet was empty. But, still, it died. Good thing that my dad got insurance when he bought it. ^^ But I have to wait a bit for the new one. Just incase you're wondering, I have a silver enV with internet access. Ahh, how I miss it. Although I would love the newer version of the enV that verizon I just can't remember the name. I am following my attempt to make my blogs more lively, and now I am deciding not to blog until I make an icon to go with it. I need some more, and I figured it would be a nice way to force myself. So, you like?

So, all of yesterday and today I was trying to memorize this stupid sonnet by Shakespeare for reading class. During 3rd, and 4th hour [I have reading 5th] I was panicking because I still had like five or six lines left to memorize. It turns out that he didn't even make us recite the darn thing. I heard he made a few people present in other classes, and then told them it was a joke. How rude! >.> He didn't even bother in my class. Still, it was mean.

Anywho, DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU COULD READ ENTIRE BOOKS ON GOOGLE? OMFG! I know! That is soooo cool! Today I was googling "Macbeth" and the book result came up. I was bored, so I took a look at it, and there it was! The whole book scanned from a NY library. Google must not have anything better to dp. Although I love the idea.
