My views on the race for Presidency.

Now, I’m not saying that the young people of America should be all involved in this election, but I think that in this day and age we should have opinions. You see, I like to ask my friends either who they want to win, or whom they would vote for if they could, and things like that; normally, they just say that they don’t know or even ask why they should care. I think that us teenagers should care about who becomes the next president. After all, by the time we can vote, (or at least me) there’s going to be another election. No matter who you are, or how old you may be, a new president will affect you in one way or another.

Personally, I would rather Obama as the next President. Wouldn’t a vote for McCain be another push in the same path we’re heading along? That’s like another Bush. The Bush Administration didn’t do jack, in fact I think it’s tearing this country apart. But, hey that’s just me. It’s not just the fact that McCain would suck, but I genuinely agree with Obama’s speeches and his views. We can’t just have old white males rule this land. What about everyone else? America is filled with different races and backgrounds, why keep electing old white people? Do they know what’s really going on? Can they really help everyone? I think that Obama has a strong background, that will help this country grow.

Honestly, I have no clue who this lady from Alaska is. But, whatever. I think it’s going to come really close though. There are a lot of racist people out there, who would rather have someone white, than someone who would help.

Wow, I’m not from the states or anything, but I’m sure if I were that I’d probably have someone I wanted to vote for. Personally, I agree with you on Obama winning. I don’t know why, but I seriously think he should win; besides, he’d be the first black president! Yay, no more racism (:

By the way, first scomment? Yay! ;D

    Hey Nicole!

    Excellent article.
Not sure that I agree with all the points made in it however :-)

I personally am a McCain fan, and no its not because I am white. -I really think that Obama may be the anti-Christ…

According to the Book of Revelations the anti-christ is: The anti-christ will be a man, in his 40s, of Muslim descent, who will deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a massive Christ-like appeal…. the prophecy says that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace, and when he is in power, will destory everything. Is it Obama?

Do not look only to what I say, but look to your Bibles, to passages in John, Daniel, and Revelations.

    Cheers,
    Ben

I agree with parts of your convincing speech and the racist ways of America but wouldn’t you agree by the time a child turns 8 years old that they are extremely affected by the area they grow up in… Did you know that Obama was raised in a country that wouldn’t mind blowing America off the face of the Earth until he was nine. Dont you think that would affect him in some way. I would personally love to have a black man for prez but he doesn’t have the best background. And he is always saying something wrong, look in the news for him soon you will see what I mean.
Btw when I leave a comment I see your source coad, mistype I guess, check it out.

  6. Jack :

And not to be rude but I also think that Ben Armstrong may be right about the anti-christ, times are changing and the bible does say Jesus will come again, down from the heavens but after three years of good and another three years of bad from the anti christ. Obama could be him he could bring three years of peace and three years of misery where Christians will be procecuted for no reason, everything will fall and after those 6 years of good then bad Jesus our lord and savior will come down from the heavens and all will fall to the ground and those who believed without seeing will fly through the clouds and into heaven for judgement day. while those who did not believe without seeing will sink into hell. By the way The anti christ will perform miracles and pretend to be christ and many, even Christian men will fall into his trick that he is truly the lord, our savior. The true lord and savior will come down from the heavens and all will fall to its knees and bow down to the real lord and savior, JESUS CHRIST!

I agree with your opinion 110%! Obama seems to understand the rut we are in at the moment and wants to help those who are suffering financially. McCain, being a republican, typically wants nothing more than big business to rule the country and that the economy stay in tip-top shape, avoiding the fact people are starving themselves from a financial failures.

Oh god. I am most afraid because I am Muslim. Many say America is the melting pot of all cultures, but most of the presidents were pro-Christianity and never had to argue with the Church. Not that I am trying to criticize the religion but there is a desperate need of fresh air, financially, politically, and religiously. That is my opinion.

Wow, I made a journal of a comment!

  8. Kristine :

I totally agree, although I am not into that stuff. It’s good to know about things that will affect how we live and our futures. And it would be good if either Obama or Hillary (i can’t remember if she’s still in it) became president because Obama would be the first Black and Hillary would be the first woman ^^

  9. Aaron :

OMG, that is so true! Why have someone white other than someone who can help? So true… I’ve always thought that way. I seriously hate the fact that whites like to vote for whites. It makes so sense. Sarah Palin’s starting to get on my nerves, talking about something else other than helping the country. How stupid is she? She seems pretty stupid to me. I don’t like her. I just don’t. OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT!!!!! I hope. (:

  10. Lucy :

  13. Melik Yuksel :

I agree with you totally on this. Great podcast today. :)

So the Anti-Christ will be a man of Muslim descent?

    Sounds like me, I don’t think I’m the Anti-Christ.

I can’t believe what Jack and Ben are writing here.
